Description

In contrast to 2D measurement technology, 3D measurement technology also records information on the object shape in addition to the contrast. For optimum results, the illumination should be as uniform as possible in terms of shape and intensity. High-quality line lasers meet precisely these crucial criteria and are therefore ideal for the popular triangulation measurement technique. 

The StreamLine laser is the ideal solution when compactness and the best line quality must not be compromised.

Osela's optics manufacturing enables us to produce laser lines with very specific power distributions. From highly uniform lines to cosine corrected distributions to intentionally curved profiles for incident angle projections. 

Straightness

Characterization techniques and design enable repeatable line straightness performance. With specifications down to <0.03 % deviation, the highest precision requirements can be met. Straightness profiles can also be manufactured to specific polynomial degrees for easier software compensation.

Focusing

Decades of experience in industrial image processing have shown how important it is to optimize the focusing for each application and each system individually. We offer more than 10 different focusing options that can be tailored to provide the best line width, depth of field and Gaussian performance in a given workspace. In-house 3D focusing and measurement facilities allow us to optimize this individually for each laser to ensure repeatability for your system.
