General Terms and Conditions for Participation in Events of Laser 2000 GmbH

1. General / Scope

The following general terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between the customer and the participant (hereinafter "participant") in seminars, workshops, training courses, conferences and other transfer measures (hereinafter "events") of LASER 2000 GmbH. The general terms and conditions apply exclusively. Conflicting or deviating from our terms and conditions of the participant, we do not accept, unless we have expressly agreed in writing their validity.
Consumers within the meaning of these terms and conditions are natural persons with whom business relations are entered into, without them being admitted to a commercial or independent professional activity. Entrepreneurs within the meaning of these terms and conditions are natural or legal persons or legal partnerships entered into with a business relationship that act in the exercise of a commercial or a self-employed professional activity. Participants in terms of these terms and conditions are both consumers and entrepreneurs.

 

2. Registration / Registration Confirmation

The registration can be made via letter or fax or online (if provided) via the participant or the registration area of ​​his company. The registration becomes legally binding through our e-mail confirmation. Since the number of participants for our events is limited, registrations will be considered in the order they are received.

 

3. Cancellation policy for event bookings via the Internet / cancellation right

Event bookings made via the Internet may be revoked in writing (letter, fax, e-mail) within two weeks without giving reasons, in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code. The period begins at the earliest with receipt of this instruction. To maintain the cancellation period, the timely dispatch of the revocation is sufficient. Consequences of revocation: In the case of an effective revocation, the already received services are to be returned and any benefits derived are to be surrendered. If the received services can not be returned in whole or in part or only in a deteriorated condition, compensation for the value must be paid if applicable. Special Notes: The right of revocation expires prematurely if the event has taken place with the express consent of the participating consumer before the end of the cancellation period and the consumer has participated.

 

4. Bank account

Payments are made as a transfer to the account of LASER 2000 GmbH.

 

5. Due date and payment, arrears, set-off

The amount of the participation fees can be found in the corresponding event announcement. They refer to a person and an event date. The participation fee is due 3 days after the invoice date and must be made without any deduction; Discount is not granted. Payment by sending cash or checks is not possible; LASER 2000 GmbH is not liable for loss. In the event of late payment, default interest is payable by the entrepreneur in the amount of 8% points above the base interest rate and by the consumer in the amount of 5% points above the base interest rate. The assertion of further damage caused by default is not excluded hereby. With regard to the entrepreneur, LASER 2000 GmbH reserves the right to prove and assert a higher damage caused by delay. The participant can only offset claims that have been legally established or recognized in writing by LASER 2000 GmbH. The participant is only authorized to exercise a right of retention if his counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship.

 

6. Cancellations

If the performance of the event is not possible due to force majeure or for important reasons (for example because of a speaker's illness or due to insufficient number of participants), the participants will be informed as soon as possible and the event fee will be reimbursed. Further claims exist only in the case of LASER 2000 GmbH. The participant can cancel the event up to 14 days before the start of the event for 50% of the participation fee. Thereafter, or in case of no-show of the participant, we charge the full participation fee. The cancellation must be in writing. LASER 2000 GmbH accepts a substitute participant without additional costs. Cancellation, cancellation or change of booking must be in writing.



7. Performance

The participation fee includes participation in the event. If conference documents and meals are provided, these are also included in the price. LASER 2000 GmbH reserves the right to replace announced speakers with others and to make necessary changes to the event program, while preserving the overall character of the event.

 

8. Copyrights

The event documentation is protected by copyright. Reproduction, transfer or other use of the conference documents is only permitted with the express written consent of LASER 2000 GmbH.

 

9. Liability

The respective event is carefully prepared and carried out according to the current state of knowledge. For granted advice, the utilization in the event acquired knowledge as well as the topicality, correctness and completeness of event documents no liability is assumed. Furthermore, no responsibility is taken for any disadvantages that arise due to lack of event prerequisites in the participants. This disclaimer does not apply
- in case of intentional or grossly negligent damage,
- in case of violation of essential contractual obligations also by legal representatives or agents of LASER 2000 GmbH; Insofar it is only liable for the foreseeable, contract-typical, direct average damage according to the type of event.
- in the case of culpable injury to the life, body or health of the participant,
- in the case of fraudulently concealed defects and assumed guarantee for information or contents of the event documents.

 

10. Privacy Policy

LASER 2000 GmbH protects the personal data of the participants. LASER 2000 GmbH will treat the data provided by the participant as confidential and use it only in accordance with the data protection regulations. Personal data is all data stored in connection with the name of the participant. The stock data provided by the participant (title, first name, surname, delivery and billing address, tel. And fax number, e-mail address) are stored by LASER 2000 GmbH in the subscriber or customer register and for the purpose the provision of the service and billing processed, used and - if necessary - passed on to contracted service providers. Unless stated otherwise, we will inform the participants about our events in the future. The consent can be revoked at any time at the office.

 

11. Applicable law, place of jurisdiction and place of fulfillment

German law applies. If the participant is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Erlangen. The same applies if the participant does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany or if his place of residence or habitual residence is unknown at the time the complaint is filed.

 

12. Final provisions

The conditions of participation remain binding also in case of legal ineffectiveness of individual regulations in their remaining parts. Agreements deviating from this contract are only effective if agreed in writing.
