Description

Mobile Laser Safety Screen for Laser Welding

The lightweight laser protection screen Weld-Screen consists of a thin steel plate and is mounted in a powder-coated steel frame. It is suitable for temporary demarcation of a laser welding area. Due to the flat adjustable feet, the screen closes directly on the floor and provides optimal protection against possible scattered radiation from the floor.

Properties:

  • Wall material on both sides in white
  • Width: 1,5 m
  • Height: 2,0 m or 2,5 m
  • Wall thickness 25 mm

  • The material protects against laser beams of all wavelengths

Part number:

  • LMT-Weld-Screen-2.0: Height 2,0 m, no wheels
  • LMT-Weld-Screen-2.5: Height 2,5 m, no wheels
  • LMT-Weld-Screen-2.0-Mobile: Height 2,0 m, with wheels (foldable)

Protection values according to EN 60825-4:

Please note that the wall material only protects against stray light from the laser when using a hand-held laser welding device as intended. It is necessary for the laser protection officer in your company to confirm as part of a risk assessment that the maximum permissible radiation levels of the wall are not being reached or exceeded. Scattered radiation, which can escape upwards, downwards or sideways, must be evaluated by the laser safety officer with regard to maximum permissible radiation levels depending on the on-site situation. Additional laser protection measures may be required.
