Laser welding cabin

The safest way to protect a laser environment according to EN 60825-1 is to delimit the laser area with a closed laser safety cabin. In this way, uninvolved persons are safely protected from the laser radiation, especially during laser welding with laser powers in the kW range.

Please note that the wall material only protects against stray light from the laser when using a hand-held laser welding device as intended. It is necessary for the laser protection officer in your company to confirm as part of a risk assessment that the maximum permissible radiation levels of the walls are not being reached or exceeded.
