Hand-held laser welding systems

The development of high-performance fiber lasers enables hand-held laser welding devices in which laser powers in the kW range are guided to a compact, hand-held welding head via an optical fiber. The advantages of laser welding are thus made accessible to a wide range of applications.

           

The advantages of hand-held laser welding systems:

           

  • High-strength welds: Laser welding creates monolithic connections without additional material.
  • Highest Precision: The user can easily achieve a high level of accuracy even without a welder background.
  • Smart and easy operation: An integrated touch screen allows you to save your parameters for the next weld for consistent results and save a lot of preparation time.
  • High Speed: The laser welding speed is up to 5m/min.
  • Aesthetic Results: The process uses a low heat application that minimizes damage to the components or materials.
  • Almost no physical distortion: When joining thin, large sheets of metal together, laser welding avoids thermal and physical distortion for an end product without additional processing.
