Description
The majority of optical choppers come with the chopping blade exposed. Using a blade protector can reduce the chances of damage. It is also useful in applications where you do not wish the ambient light to be chopped as well.
THE SCT-300P blade protector is designed for use with standard 102 mm optical systems. It has apertures at 3, 9 and 12 O’Clock of 31.5 mm diameter. Each of these apertures can be blanked off using the blanking plates provided or reduced to 12 mm diameter using alternate plates also provided.
The SCT-300P comes as standard with the SCT-310CD high speed optical chopper.
