Description

The EOP-PLD-2S-220 driver phase locks two resonant scanners of the same frequency in a Lissajous pattern to create a circle or an ellipse or to lock two resonant scanners of the same frequency in phase or out of phase. The two identical scanners are one fixed frequency each, picked from the range of 10 Hz to 16 kHz. Scanner „B“ is phase locked to scanner „A“ in a MASTER/SLAVE mode. The phase relationship to the master scanner iss et by the factory to customers requirements (0° to 360°) and is front panel adjustable in the range of ± 45° min.

The EOP-PLD-2S-220 driver can also lock two resonant scanners of the same frequency to a stable external clock in a SLAVE/SLAVE mode in phase or out of phase.

The system can be used as a „stand alone“ unit or can be incorporated into an instrument. Although the scanner can be used in a large temperature range this driver is not recommended for use in temperature sensitive applications.
