Laser welding is the thematic focus of the application-related training for becoming a laser safety officer. The special features of laser welding are discussed, such as laser smoke and how to deal with it, setting up a laser area with access control and the use of personal protective equipment for hand-held welding lasers. The training is offered in cooperation with the Bayerische Laserzentrum GmbH and corresponds to the content of the specifications of the OStrV and the TROS laser radiation.
